Urca

The Urca solar complex will be located in the city of Bom Jesus da Lapa (BA), about 780 km from the state capital, Salvador.

The energy produced will be transported from the Bom Jesus da Lapa II substation (34.5kV/230kV) via an 8.78 km transmission line connected to the National Interconnected System (SIN) grid.

The municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa has approximately 68,000 residents. The closest city is Riacho de Santana, a municipality bordering Bom Jesus da Lapa.

The communities around the solar complex already have a history of coexisting with other photovoltaic projects and monitoring the state's environmental licensing program through the Project Monitoring Committee (CAE).
